Bomberger’s Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Bomberger's Declaration Small Batch Bourbon pays homage to the distillery's legacy, originally known as Bombergers in the 1800s, later transitioning to Michter's in recent years. The 2021 release presents a rich aromatic profile featuring caramel, honey, and balanced charred oak spices. Notes of fresh fruits, like green apples, and a touch of tobacco enhance the full-bodied aroma. The palate offers a delightful combination of fruity and dessert-like flavors, including Crème Brulee, dark fruits, berries, with hints of cedar, candied orange, and a touch of spices like cinnamon and pepper. This Bourbon, aged in specially crafted barrels, some made from air-dried Chinquapin Oak for over three years, showcases a unique character, with the char level adjusted to highlight the whiskey's distinctive profile, similar to the 2019 and 2020 releases.

Bomberger's Declaration Small Batch Bourbon celebrates the legacy of the distillery which was originally known as Bombergers in the 1800s and which later became Michter's in the more recent years. This 2021 release delivers a full bodied aroma of caramel, honey balanced with charred oak spices, some fresh fruits such as green apples and tobacco. The fruity and dessert like palate is a combination of some Crème Brulee, dark fruits, berries and hints of cedar, candied orange and spices such as cinnamon and pepper.
Similar to the 2019 and 2020 release the Bourbon was aged in special barrels, some of which were made from Chinquapin (Quercus muehlenbergii) Oak that has been naturally air dried for over 3 years. For this release the Char level was adjusted to accentuate the profile of this Whiskey.
