The Dalmore King Alexander III is a tribute to the art of cask curation, masterfully blending six distinct cask finishes to create a truly unique whisky. Initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is then apportioned into casks that have held Matusalem Oloroso Sherry, Madeira, Marsala, Port, and Cabernet Sauvignon wine, before being unified in a Sherry butt for its final maturation. This complex cask journey gives the whisky a rich, multi-layered profile.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: A malty aroma with orange zest, creamy vanilla fudge, and hints of tropical fruits. Accents of chocolate and nuts add depth.

• Palate: Begins sweet with notes of orange and vanilla, followed by a burst of red berries and wine-like characteristics.

• Finish: A warming finish with oak spices, polished wood, and a touch of liquorice root.
