Their first new make spirit flowed through Ontake's stills in 2019, with all whisky releases expected to be exclusively matured in old sherry casks.

Following its closure, much of the distillery's inventory was stored in the Yamanashi warehouse and acquired by Mr. Akuto in 2006.
